About WJW

Whitney Jr Wildcats (WJW) is non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, that is a player-centered Youth Football and Cheer program dedicated to bringing the enjoyment of football and competitive cheerleading to the youth of the Rocklin community.  We are committed to bringing opportunities to the youth of our community and teaching critical life skills that will enable them to achieve success on and off the field.

Our mission is to develop high character youth football players and competivite cheerleaders by teaching the fundamentals of the sport, providing a player-centered environment in which our future Whitney High School (WHS) Wildcats can enjoy the game, and pursuing excellence in all we do.  WJW also upholds the mission of the Sierra Athletic Conference (SAC) of partnering with parents, coaches, schools and the community in developing character excellence in our participants.

Our programs are designed for participants from ages 6-14 years of age.  WJW does not have residency restrictions for participants, but families registering with SAC are encouraged to do so with the program associated with the high school where their children will attend.

One Wildcat Family

As a feeder program to the Whitney High School Football and Cheer programs , WJW maintains the same high standards in everything we do as we focus on teaching the fundamentals of football and cheerleading.  The WHS administration is deeply committed to the development and growth of both programs.  Our joint commitment is to work together in developing the junior program and to mutually support each other.
